Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale) is the antagonist of the story who appears to be an arrogant, domineering and overall brattish person. She has always gotten the lead roles in musicals, since kindergarten. She is the more intelligent of the Evans twins, and doesn't treat Ryan very well. Sharpay changes the callbacks date to prevent Troy and Gabriella from getting the roles, but it does not work out. However, at the end of the show, she has a change of heart and wishes Gabriella luck. Also, she initially rejects Zeke, but after tasting his cookies, she falls for him and is seen hugging him in the end.

Elle a toujours eu les premiers rôles dans les comédies musicales, depuis le jardin d'enfant. Elle est la plus intelligente des jumeaux Evans, et ne traite pas Ryan très bien. Sharpay change la date de l'audition pour que Troy et Gabriella ne puisse pas y participer, mais ça ne marche pas. Cependant, à la fin, elle devient gentille et souhaite bonne chance à Gabriella. Aussi, au début elle rejette Zeke, mais après avoir goûté ses cookies, elle tombe amoureuse de lui et on la voit lui faire un câlin à la fin
